Welcome to Christ the Redeemer

welcome

Welcome to the website for Christ the Redeemer Church.  I pray that you find our site helpful and encouraging.  I thought it would be appropriate for my first post to tell you a little bit about what we believe and who we are.

First
, we are committed to the Bible, God's inerrant and infallible word, as the final authority for faith and life. We view the faithful preaching (and hearing) of God’s Word as essential to growth in the Christian life.

Second, we are committed to the Reformed faith, as set forth in the historic Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms. The doctrines of grace of our Confession are beloved to Reformed Christians because they are biblical and emphasize the sovereignty of God in salvation.

The theme of the Protestant Reformation was “Post Tenebras Lux” or “Out of Darkness, Light” which reminds us of the power of centering our beliefs and practices on the word of God, not the word of man.

Third, we as a church are strongly committed to the Great Commission.  Our own mission and vision is centered upon glorifying God and calling sinners to himself.  We seek to serve missionaries both local and international.

Fourth, we are committed to the biblical teaching on the communion of saints. As a church we seek to foster real Christian fellowship, mutual concern, and love in the life of the congregation.

Finally, we are a church in the Heartland Presbytery as members of the Presbyterian Church in America.  We are elder-led and committed to this model of leadership.

My hope in this life and the one to come is that I have been bought by the precious blood of Christ.  My prayer for you is that you can say the same. We would love to have you join us as we seek to serve our Savior together.

Sincerely,

Reverend Aaron J. Suber

18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[b] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20
teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” -Matthew 28:18-20

28 Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. ” -Colossians 1:28
