Sunday School for ages 2 through adults at 9:30 a.m. before the Worship Service.  Please join us!

The Sunday School curriculum for our K-5th grade classes is “Investigating God’s Word” from One Story Ministries. It is a 7-year, comprehensive, Christ-centered curriculum covering Genesis to Revelation in a systematic way. God’s Word is presented chronologically, demonstrating how all the stories and teaching of Scripture connect to one another historically.  Each lesson has a short introduction, review of previous learning, a vocabulary word of the week, historical context of the scripture covered that day, and then reading and investigation of the Bible passage. Each week, children receive a bookmark with that week's memory verse.

*NOTE:  Grade levels below for summer classes reflect the grade the child recently completed.  Fifth graders (rising 6th grade) only will move up to the Youth Class at this time.

2 - 3 Year Olds (Nursery Class):  God's Story Bible  (Great Commission)

Children in the nursery during the Sunday School hour will have a short Bible lesson and some play time. We will be using the God's Story Bible Coloring Book from Great Commission Publications. Each lesson includes a Bible verse or passage that emphasizes Bible truths through the reading of God's word, fun activities, catechism questions, and a coloring sheet.

Pre-Kindergarten-1st Grade:  We currently do not have a need for a summer class for this age group.  If you have a first-grader, please have them attend the 2nd-3rd grade class.

2nd - 3rd Grade:   (One Story Ministries)

This summer we will work our way through the Gospel of John.

4th Grade:    (One Story Ministries)

This quarter we will cover the following epistles: Romans, 1 & 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, and 1 & 2 Thessalonians.

YOUTH   Middle School & High School (Gr. rising 6-12)

In this 10-lecture series Moses and the Burning Bush, R.C. Sproul explains the meaning behind God's appearance in the burning bush, as well as the importance of His words to Moses. Furthermore, Dr. Sproul demonstrates how the coming of Jesus Christ is foreshadowed in this meeting between God and Moses on holy ground. Our aim is to help the Youth to connect Moses as a typological figure of Christ. By doing this, we are teaching the Youth to examine many other key biblical figures and understand how Christ is anticipated. Supplemental lessons will instruct the Youth about the context of the Exodus and Christ's superiority to Moses.

The Gospel Comes With A House Key

This summer, we will have one combined adult Sunday School class and will consider the topic of Christian hospitality using the book The Gospel Comes with a House Key, by Rosaria Butterfield.

With the story of her own conversion as a backdrop, the author invites us into her home to show us how God can use this same “radical, ordinary hospitality” to bring the gospel to our lost friends and neighbors. Such hospitality sees our homes as not our own, but as God’s tools for the furtherance of His kingdom as we welcome those who look, think, believe, and act differently from us into our everyday, sometimes messy lives—helping them see what true Christian faith really looks like. It is the prayer of your elders that this book will stir us to reach those around us and use the means that God’s provided each of us to impact the world for Christ.
