CHILDREN
The Sunday School curriculum for our PreK-5th grade classes is “Investigating God’s Word” from One Story Ministries. It is a 7-year, comprehensive, Christ-centered curriculum covering Genesis to Revelation in a systematic way. God’s Word is presented chronologically, demonstrating how all the stories and teaching of Scripture connect to one another historically.
2 - 3 Year Olds (Nursery Class): God's Story Bible (Great Commission)
Children in the nursery during the Sunday School hour will have a short Bible lesson and some play time. We will be using the God's Story Bible Coloring Book from Great Commission Publications. Each lesson includes a Bible verse or passage that emphasizes Bible truths through the reading of God's word, fun activities, catechism questions, and a coloring sheet.
Pre-Kindergarten-1st Grade: (One Story Ministries)
Exodus 1-20 Exodus begins with the Israelites' oppression in Egypt, the birth of Moses, and his divine calling to lead his people out of slavery. We learn about the hardening of Pharaoh's heart and the plagues inflicted upon Egypt, culminating in the Passover and the Israelites' exodus. The quarter will wrap up with God establishing his covenant with Israel and giving them the Ten Commandments.
2nd - 3rd Grade: (One Story Ministries)
1 Samuel 16-31 We will pick up where we left off with the second half of the Book of 1 Samuel. The text begins with the rejection of Saul as king of Israel and the anointing of a new king, one that He alone has selected for His people. We learn about God's election of David, his judgment of Saul, and His will for His people, Israel.
4th - 5th Grade: (One Story Ministries)
II Kings 13-21, II Chronicles 25-33, Hosea, Amos, and Micah This quarter we will pick up where we left off in II Kings and II Chronicles. The nation of Israel has been divided, so many years filled with good kings and evil kings have passed. We’ll continue to learn about Israel's kings, both good and bad, as well as God's prophets.

ADULT CLASSES
Class 1
CtR Foundations
[Led by Pastor Jason Wegener and a Rotation of Pastors and Elders]
The CtR Foundations class gives an overview of who Christ the Redeemer is as a church and why we do what we do―our DNA. We will dive deep into a wide range of topics, including our worship liturgy, the variety of ministries offered, key distinctives of our denomination, and the theological truths that undergird it all. You are highly encouraged to attend if you are new to Christ the Redeemer, new to the Reformed faith, or interested in exploring membership now or in the future. If you’ve been at CtR awhile but simply would like a refresher or want to help engage in discussion, please join us.
Class 2
Who is the Holy Spirit?
The Holy Spirit’s presence and work can be found throughout redemptive history. However, He is sometimes the forgotten Person of the Trinity. In this video course from Ligonier Ministry, Dr. Sinclair Ferguson traces the work of the Spirit of God throughout the pages of Scripture.
Class 3
James: Portrait of a Living Faith
We will study the book of James using Jon Nielson's James: Portrait of a Living Faith, part of the Reformed Expository Bible Study series. As the Reformation Study Bible reminds us, the book of James―sometimes referred to as the Proverbs of the New Testament―"practically and faithfully reminds Christians how to live. From perseverance to true faith to controlling one’s tongue, submitting to God’s will, and having patience, this book aids readers in living authentically and wisely for Christ."
