This one-day Women’s Conference is being hosted by Christ the Redeemer to give the ladies of our church a framework to think biblically about who God is and who He is calling women to be personally and in the context of ministry in the church. This equipping event is a series of four or five in-depth sessions that provide both a biblical framework for women in ministry as well as many practical tools. The rich theological truths taught as the foundation for women's ministry in the church are also practical for all women in their various roles in life and in the ministry of the church. CtR ladies will also have times of discussion and fellowship where they can connect with other ladies in our own church and from other churches in our region.
This conference will focus particularly on the needs and ministry of Christ the Redeemer, but is open to ladies from other area Reformed Churches. We desire to bless other churches with this quality training that is offered through the PCA. It is open to women of all ages; and older teen girls are encouraged to attend as well.
Each paid participant will receive a training workbook with many helpful resources to continue the training and conversations that are begun at this event. Continental breakfast and lunch is provided.
If you are coming from out of town and need lodging, please contact us.
*Chandra Oliver serves on the PCA’s Committee on Discipleship Ministries (CDM) National Women’s Ministry Team as a Trainer and Advisor-At-Large for Chaplain and Military Wives. Chandra lives in North Carolina with her husband Matt, who is a TE in the PCA and is an Army Chaplain. In the past nine years, the Olivers have lived in six different states. With each move they are encouraged and reminded that, although the Army sends them to new locations, “God never gets the address wrong.” Whether leading a Bible study, serving on a volunteer committee, or participating in a military event, Chandra enjoys finding new ways to breathe life into her fellow military spouses.
