SUMMER 2026 QUARTER

Sunday School for ages 2 through adults at 9:30 a.m. before the Worship Service.  Please join us!

CHILDREN

2 - 3 Year Olds (Nursery Class):

Children in the nursery during the Sunday School hour will have a short Bible lesson and some play time. We will be using the God's Story Bible Coloring Book from Great Commission Publications. Each lesson includes a Bible verse or passage that emphasizes Bible truths through the reading of God's word, fun activities, catechism questions, and a coloring sheet.

Pre-Kindergarten-1st Grade:

Using Great Commission Publications’ Preschool curriculum, children will learn that “God keeps His promises” and that it is wonderful that He does so! Children will follow God’s amazing unfolding promises to Adam and Eve, Noah, Abraham, Jacob, and David to their fulfillment in Jesus the Savior. They will be encouraged by God’s love and faithfulness to his people in these lessons.

2nd - 3rd Grade:

Using One Story Ministries’ “Investigating God’s Word” curriculum, we will work our way through the Gospel of John. John presents Jesus as the Son of God who came to reveal God’s love and offer eternal life to all who believe in Him. Through Jesus’ teachings, miracles, death, and resurrection, John invites readers to know Christ personally and follow Him in faith.

4th - 5th Grade:

Using One Story Ministries' “Investigating God’s Word” curriculum, we will cover the following epistles: Romans, 1 & 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, and 1 & 2 Thessalonians. These letters were written by Paul to early churches facing various challenges. They provide practical guidance for growing in Christ, serving others, standing firm in the gospel, and living with hope in Christ’s return.

 YOUTH

Middle School (Grades 6-8)

This summer, the Middle School will begin a study of Biblical Worldview Basics. It is a year-long study of Biblical theology, including what the Bible teaches about God, human beings, salvation, Jesus Christ, the Christian life, and the Church.

High School (Grades 9-12)

High school students are invited and encouraged to join the adult Sunday School classes this summer.

ADULT CLASSES

FOR MEN:

The Redeemed Man

[Led by a Rotation of Pastors, Elders, and S. Messer]

When Jesus changes a man, He changes everything. A redeemed man acts differently, speaks differently, thinks differently, and lives for something bigger than himself. A redeemed man honors God and blesses everyone around him when every area of his life is shaped by grace. This summer, the CtR men will study this new book to better understand how a redeemed man lives. This will be a very practical study and will help us to learn from one another as we consider the challenges that we all face and are pointed to God’s word for answers.  This class will be for men of all ages from High School to our most Senior men.

FOR WOMEN:

Beyond the Back Row Book Study

[Led by a Rotation of Pastor/Elder Wives]

This summer, the CtR women will be studying the book Beyond the Back Row: Rediscovering the Beauty of the Local Church for Your Family by Katie Polski. This book is a call to rediscover the joy, purpose, and transformative power of active participation in the local church community. It will inspire you to embrace the role your family has in building up the body of Christ, for God’s glory and your spiritual flourishing. Balancing theological insight with practical application, this book will encourage and challenge you to deepen your connection with your local church. This class is open to all adult ladies including those currently in High School. Please pick up your book today and read the first two chapters to prepare for the first lesson.
