Class #1    When Sinners Say "I Do"

Whether you have been married for a short time or many years, the truth is that when two people are joined in marriage, they both bring sin into the relationship. This is true no matter who you are or what circumstances you find yourselves under. And while marriage is a joy and blessing from the Lord, this reality often replaces that joy and sense of blessing with pain, struggle, and sorrow. In this class, we’ll be walking through the book When Sinners Say “I Do” to help us learn how we can combat sin in our lives and marriages.  Per the author, [the book]  “is about encountering the life-transforming power of the gospel in the unpredictable journey of marriage.”

Class #2    Praying With Paul

One of the most powerful tools God has given us in our relationship with Him is prayer. In the book Praying with Paul, believers are called to reject superficiality and revolutionize their lives by embracing a God-guided approach to prayer. In this class, we’ll walk through various types of prayers as well as prayers offered by Paul in order to strengthen our own faith journey. The author’s goals for the book are to work through several of these in such a way that "we hear God speak to us today and to find strength and direction to improve our praying, both for God’s glory and for our good.”
